ECO4 is aimed at low-income and vulnerable households and can cover free insulation and heating upgrades. The Boiler Upgrade Scheme has no income test and gives anyone replacing fossil fuel heating a grant of up to £7,500 (or £9,000 for off-gas homes) towards a heat pump. It depends on the scheme. ECO4 usually needs a lower EPC band, while the Boiler Upgrade Scheme just needs any valid EPC issued in the last 10 years. We can check your current rating for you.

A free assessment takes a few minutes. From there, most homes move from enquiry to installation within a few months, depending on the scheme and survey findings.

Modern solar panels are built to last. Most carry a 25–30 year performance warranty and will continue generating beyond that. Our installation partner uses Tier 1 components, and the Hometree Solar Plan covers repairs and replacements throughout the plan term.

Most homes with a reasonably pitched roof facing south, south-east, or south-west are suitable. Heavy shading from trees or neighbouring buildings can reduce output, but doesn't always rule it out.
