ECO4 is the latest phase of the UK Government’s Energy Company Obligation, running from 2022 until 31st March 2026. It helps low‑income and vulnerable households improve their home’s energy efficiency through free or subsidised measures such as insulation, heating, and solar upgrades. The aim is to reduce energy bills, cut carbon emissions, and improve the EPC rating of inefficient homes.

ECO4 helps households reduce energy bills, improve comfort, and upgrade inefficient homes through funded energy‑saving measures. It can increase your property’s EPC rating, lower carbon emissions, and provide long‑term savings by installing modern, efficient heating and insulation

Once your eligibility is confirmed, we’ll arrange a Retrofit Assessment for your property. An in‑house Assessor will complete a whole‑house survey, taking photos and measurements to identify which ECO-funded improvements are suitable. Using this information, our Retrofit Coordinator will create an Improvement Plan outlining the recommended measures and installation order. Our operations team will then schedule the installation and advise on timings. After the work is completed, we’ll submit all compliance paperwork to our funders so you can simply enjoy the improvements and the energy savings.

ECO4 funding covers insulation (loft, cavity wall, solid wall, and underfloor), heating upgrades such as heat pumps, and heating controls. The focus is on improving energy efficiency.
