No - the Boiler Upgrade Scheme has no income or benefits test. It's open to any homeowner replacing fossil fuel or electric heating, regardless of income.

In many cases, yes, though some homes need slightly larger radiators to run efficiently at lower flow temperatures. Your installer will check this during your free survey.

Not necessarily. Outstanding insulation recommendations on your EPC no longer block your application. Your installer may still recommend improvements to keep running costs down, but it isn't a condition of the grant.

Your installer deducts it directly from your quote before you pay - you never pay the full price and wait for a refund.

You can't receive two grants for the same measure, but ECO4 support for insulation elsewhere in your home doesn't rule you out of BUS for your heating. We'll check this during your assessment.

Typically a few months in total - survey, quote, Ofgem application, then installation, which itself usually takes one to two days.
